The Somali Ministry of Ports and Marine Transport has decided to apply the CTN procedure for shipments heading to or leaving Somalia ports. It will be mandatory as of February 1st, 2023.

This notice is to remind our shipping agencies that as of as of April 29th, 2023 theECTN reference number must be mentioned on the bill of lading on all cargo destined for Somali ports. For more information, kindly find the attachment of the letter.
